Spring Fever + Business Vibes 🌸

This weekend I officially cracked. I had to open every window in the house, light my nerdiest floral-scented candle, and pretend I wasn’t still wearing fuzzy socks. Even though it was snowing, spring fever hit hard — and honestly, I don’t hate it.

It got me thinking: doesn’t spring kind of feel like nature’s version of a reset button? Everything’s waking up, stretching out, and getting ready to grow. Kinda like us and our businesses, right?

Are you feeling it too? I’d love to hear — are you doing anything fresh in your life or business this season? Maybe you’re taking a spring break vacay, reorganizing your workspace, or just giving yourself permission to slow down and smell the literal (or metaphorical) roses. Hit reply and let me know 💌

As for me? I’m helping my mom pack to move into her new apartment (she’s thrilled but already overwhelmed by the number of throw pillows we own), prepping for a golf tournament fundraiser for my favourite charity (my introverted self will be hiding behind the camera taking photos of all the action), and doing a whole-house spring clean like my sanity depends on it. (Because it might.)

Whatever your spring looks like, I hope it feels good. Remember, you don’t have to do it all — just choose one small thing to refresh. Sometimes opening the window is the win.

Talk soon,

P.S. If you’ve got a favourite spring tradition or you’re making a fresh move in your biz, I’d seriously love to hear about it. Hit reply and share away.

The past few months have been… a lot. Getting back into a rhythm hasn’t been easy, but I’ve made it a point to spend quiet time with myself—no pressure, just presence. During one of those moments, I picked up The Pivot Year by Brianna Wiest (still one of my all-time favourites). I wasn’t looking for anything specific—I just opened it—and landed on Day 231. Where she writes: “Sometimes, when it seems like you are falling behind with the outside world, you are actually coming into alignment...

That’s because I’m exhausted—plum-pooped, if you will. Yesterday, I spent 4.5 hours at the Calgary Economic Development Report to the Community. It was an afternoon with industry leaders talking about how to boost and drive economic growth in the city. There were keynote speakers, a panel, and networking.Ohhh, so much networking....
